Plugin install flow

License flow
GoFormMint allows free usage, but every install should activate a license. This protects fair usage, helps identify connected sites, and gives the product owner a clean path to upgrade users when their forms begin generating leads.

Best for testing one site with limited forms and monthly submissions.
Paid license
Best when more forms, more leads, automation or payment workflows are needed.
Managed license server
GoFormMint manages license keys, plan limits and usage validation through the central product platform.
WordPress validation
The plugin can call GoFormMint license APIs for activation and usage checks.

Use AI-assisted suggestions when available to choose practical fields, success messages and required rules.
Email alerts
Lead notifications can be handled through GoFormMint-supported email delivery when enabled for the license or plan.

Troubleshooting
Plugin upload fails
Check WordPress upload limits and whether the user account has permission to upload plugins.
License does not activate
Check the site URL, license key and whether the license is active for that website.
Panel link appears publicly
Upload the latest layout file so public users see `Start Free`, not private platform links.
CSS does not update
Confirm page source contains `goformmint.css?v=` and clear browser or hosting cache.
